I started this site for a single, simple reason: To answer the question, “What’s happening in Chicago technology?” Prior to WindyBits, I felt that no single website could provide the answer.

With WindyBits, I try to cover the Chicago technology scene with lots of links, quality articles, and a dash of wit. The event calendar is my attempt to list everything going on in Chicago (and to a lesser extent, the burbs) that’s of interest to a tech savvy Chicagoan.

I have a 9 to 5, too. I work on Web-related projects for a private company. And–you guessed it–I have a blog, too: underscorebleach.net. That one’s got some curse words on it.
